The new Seiko Presage SSA423 timepiece is part of the "Style 60's" Collection inspired by the classic 1964 Crown Chronograph, Seiko's first wristwatch equipped with Japan’s first stopwatch function. The 40.8mm polished stainless steel case has a partial open heart dial that displays Seiko's in-house caliber movement 4R39. The rich white satin dial has a box-shaped glare-resistant sapphire crystal with a small 24-hour subdial located at 11 o’clock. Small details, such as the beige LumiBright application to the razor-sharp diamond-shaped hands and indiced markers, give this a vintage feel but are still easily legible. Fashioned after the retro colors of that time, a fixed contrasting black aluminum bezel surrounds the minutes track on the contoured chapter ring. The stainless steel easy-grip oversized crown has a 50-meter water resistance capacity. Fitted with a brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet with angled lugs for comfort and a twin push button tri-fold safety clasp closure adjustable by two to stay secure and in place on the wrist.
